Natasa Vucetic, CPA

Natasa Vucetic joined May Institute in July of 2024. As Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer, Natasa is responsible for all facets of May Institute’s financial operations, overseeing general accounting, financial planning and reporting, and treasury management. She holds a joint appointment as Chief Financial Officer of the National Autism Center at May Institute.

Natasa is a finance executive with extensive financial planning and management experience across not-for-profit industries, including human service providers and cultural organizations. Prior to joining May Institute, she served as the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), where she was in charge of the ICA’s finances, facilities, information technology, security and safety, risk management, compliance, and reporting. Her work encompassed opening new programmatic facilities in East Boston and Seaport, from planning and financing to operational execution. During her tenure, the ICA completed two successful capital campaigns, created a board-designated fund for impact and equity, doubled endowment assets, and strengthened technology infrastructure.

Natasa’s career began in public accounting, where she gained broad experience working on audit and assurance engagements in various industries, including human services organizations. In 2010, inspired by the important mission and community impact of not-for-profit organizations, she joined the finance team at the Home for Little Wanders, the oldest U.S. child welfare agency. Natasa later worked at the Boston Symphony Orchestra (BSO), where she managed BSO’s business operations, real estate and endowment investments, and operating and capital budgeting processes.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UMass Lowell and is a licensed CPA.
